United Canadian Muslim Association – Edmonton
The missions of this Association are:

To satisfy the religious and spiritual needs of the Muslim population in the Canada;
To teach Islam and to spread and keep alive the Islamic Culture;
To provide Muslim children and youth with religious education;
To give Muslim adults religious information and advice; to respond to questions pertaining to religion;
To support the Muslim community financially and spiritually;
To administer all religious services; to organize ceremonies on religios days and holidays; to direct all religios wedding ceremonies and funerals; to establishes and make available Islamic cemeteries;
To administer the cleansing ceremonies on the bodies of deceased Muslims; to transfer deceased Muslims to the cemeteries inside and outside the country;
For the realization of the objectives, to purchase, build or rent temples such as mosques masjids and buildings such as schools, student dormitories, student camp grounds and other necessary places;
To maintain and preserve the already existing property; to establish foundations to preserve the Islamic Culture.
